Customer Service Training. They watch the video "In Search Of Excellence". In one scene, the trainer at Walt Disney World asks the new Disney employees, "What business are we in? What do we do at Walt Disney World?" The answer is, "

After the video, we talk about what business we are in. Yes, we sell
T-Shirts,
Pens,
Banners,
Lanyards, and
Water Bottles and we have
excellent prices,
quality products, and
efficient distribution. BUT the bottom line is we are in the same business as Disney. "WE MAKE PEOPLE HAPPY". Sure, you probably won't whistle Zippity do da when you get your order... but

Delivery on time, every time as promised.
Stock orders received by 3:00 PM will almost always ship the same day. If we don't have the product in stock, you should
expect to get the product when you are told. This seems like it should be a simple task, but I personally know it doesn't happen for me when I buy things. When it comes to delivery, some businesses will tell you what you want to hear and deal with the consequences later. We don't do that. We'll give you your delivery date as best we can and meet that date. On the rare occasion that something comes up that causes a delay, we'll let you know immediately.
